Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance

The Academic Board is responsible for the quality assurance of all teaching in the University College. As part of quality assurance, all end-of-semester examinations in each academic year are both pre-moderated and post-moderated by the University of Cape Coast, through the Institutional Affiliation Office.

In addition, the quality of the courses are maintained through: scrutiny of the reports of External Examiners by the University College and the Academic Board;  student feedback through lecture questionnaires; appraisal and evaluation of Faculty, and the provision of Faculty development programmes; and the Academic Board’s programme for reviewing Faculties and Departments every five years.
