Course Objectives

Technical Competence in Computer Science

Entry Requirements

This course creates a platform for an advanced financial education and you will explore a systematized flow and management of money and assets. Banking and Finance affords you an endless career options as you acquire expert knowledge, skill-set and requisite fundamentals of the financial world.

  1. West Africa Examination Certificate Holders (WASSCE/NECO): For applicants applying with wassce or neco certificates, you must have six (6) passes (A1 to C6), passes in three (3) core subjects including core mathematics and english language and passes in any three relevant elective courses. 
  2.  SSCE Entry: For applicants applying with the old WAEC certificate (i.e. SSCE) are required to have six (6) passes (A1 to D7), three (3) core subjects including mathematics and english language and passes in any three relevant elective courses.
  3. GCE Advanced Level: Applicants with General Certificate of Education must have three (3) passes (1 to 7) and five credits in GCE Ordinary level subjects including mathematics and english language.

  1. ABCE Entry: For applicants with Advanced Business Certificate Examination, they must have three passes (A to D) and credit passes in five (5) subjects in General Business Examination (GBCE).
  2. Mature Entry: Applicants who do not have any certificate or do not have good passes and 25 years and above are eligible for our mature entry pathway. Applicants must show proof of age with a valid birth certificate, provide an introductory letter from employer if employed and applicant must pass the mature students entrance examinations conducted by the University. The examination covers English language, Mathematics and an Aptitude test.

  1. Foreign Certificates: All foreign certificates must be evaluated by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) before being considered for admission. Click here for more information on certificate evaluation. 
  2. International Students: All international students who do not have English as your first language are to submit proof of English Proficiency. 
  3. Top-Ups : We accept applicants applying to upgrade or top-up to degree with a qualification lower than degree. A holder of Diploma may top-up to degree in the same discipline or otherwise and such applicant will be placed at level 200. Holders of Higher National Diploma may top-up to degree in the same discipline or subject area and be placed at level 300. Where the top-up is to be in a subject area different from the HND certificate held, the applicant will be placed at level 200

Academic Modules

The Bachelor of Arts in Theology degree is designed to equip students to acquire and develop a broad, integrated introduction to theology in general, and Pentecostal/Charismatic theology in particular, and to become familiar with the literature, language and concepts of theology.

It is also aimed to integrate studies in academic and practical theology in the area of modern theological studies; acknowledging the central role of theology and practice of Christianity.
