i. Where an applicant who has been offered a place on any undergraduate programme and has made full or partial payment of fees withdraws before completing his registration, he/she will be entitled a refund of the amount paid less 10% of total fee payable for the semester as an administrative fee.
ii. However, (i) will not be applicable to the security deposit required upon admission. Such deposit is non-refundable.
iii. Where an applicant who has received an offer completes his registration but withdraws after the lectures commences and before the close of registration, the total amount after a deduction of fees on a monthly pro-rata basis shall be refunded; otherwise, a semester fees shall be forfeited.
iv. Where an applicant who has received an offer completes his registration but withdraws after lectures commence and registration closes, he or she shall be deemed as a fully registered student within the semester hence, fees paid is not refundable.
v. The timelines above apply whether an applicant or student has registered or not registered for the semester.
vi. An applicant means a student or prospective student who applies for a refund.
vii. Where a student has overpaid his or her semester's fees, the balance shall be rolled over to the next semester.
viii. If the overpayment is the last semester of the student's programme duration, the balance shall be paid to the student in line with the procedure for refund.
Where an applicant offered a place on any graduate programme withdraws after the 3rd week of re-opening, all fees paid will be non-refundable.
i. Refund request may be made from the applicant or student portal if available.
ii. Refund request may also be made in writing and addressed to the Registrar with the accounts department in copy.
iii. Refund request shall be validated three weeks after notice has been received from the University.
iv. The fee would be refunded only after the applicant has surrendered the original fee receipt, ID card (if issued) and any other documents, as required by the University at the time of refund.
v. Once the request letter and payment receipt has been verified, the Registrar shall approve for payment by the accounts department.
vi. Refund, if any, shall be made only through cheques in the favor of the concerned applicant.
• Refund shall be made only to the sponsor through cheque in favor of the concerned applicant.
